Friday, June 15 - Help remove Herb Robert - Geranium robertanium
10:15 a.m. at Corl House in Woodland Meadow
A group of third graders from Adams School will help pull the invasive Herb Robert in the Witham Hill Natural Area. Anyone who would like to join us please do so. It is easy to identify and to pull. We will probably be done by 1:30 p.m.

Saturday, June 16 - Check out the early wildflowers near the top of Mary's Peak
9:30 a.m. to 3 or 4 in the afternoon
Meet at the OSU Wilkinson Parking Lot across from the Beanery at 26th and Monroe
Join Esther Mc Evoy and Phil Hayes hiking Connors Camp Ridge Trail, Tie Trail, North Ridge Trail and back down the East Ridge Trail Loop. It is a 6.2 mile loop with a 1600 foot elevation gain and should take about five hours, including a lunch break at the top, plus 1 1/2 hours travel time. Bring a lunch, water and good hiking shoes.

Saturday, July 7 - Iron Mountain Hike

Meet at the OSU Wilkinson Parking Lot across from the Beanery at 26th and Monroe
Enjoy the spectacular display of wildflowers along this botanically rich trail west of Santiam Pass. The all day hike will be approximately 5 miles through moderately difficult terrain with plenty of stops to identify plants. Bring good boots, lunch and plenty of water.
