It’s not too late to sign up for the Weed Spotters training this Saturday, May 18!
People in our community CAN protect the landscape from the threat of invasive species.
The US spends billions of dollars a year in weed control.
The best way to keep costs down is to prevent invasive plants from getting established.
An army of informed, active volunteers is essential to protect our beautiful Willamette Valley habitats, like oak savannas and upland prairies, that provide habitat for native wildlife and plants.
Weed Spotters volunteers look for, report and remove invasives species before they get out of control.
Details:
Come to this FREE training from 9 am to 2 pm and get to know top priority invasive plants, walk Bald Hill with botanists, and learn how you can help keep our natural areas healthy.
