HI Weed Spotters- Two notes:
1-The June 8th trailhead outreach event is postponed indefinitely. If you are interested in the trailhead outreach opportunity at some later date, please let me know.
2- Scotch Broom pull at Finley Wildlife Refuge on Wednesday June 19th, between ~10 am to 1 pm. We will carpool from my office. Please RSVP to me if you are able to join us!

Molly and I are working to plan a Scotch broom removal work party here at Finley on Wednesday the 19th of June. We have not yet firmed up a time, but it would probably be around 10 am to 1 pm. We were wondering if your Weed Spotter volunteers would be interested in helping out.

Hello- Two volunteer opportunities are approaching. Please RSVP if you are able to attend either.
1) St Johns Wort Biocontrol Collection- We will collect Chrysolina quadrigemina beetles for redistribution. 10 am to 12 pm, Thursday, June 13. Meet at BSWCD office to carpool.
2) Scotch Broom Pull at Finley Wildlife Refuge 10 am to 12 pm, Wednesday, June 19. Meet at BSWCD office to carpool to Finley Headquarters.

Hello!
The scotch broom removal work party will be from 10 am to 12 pm on Wednesday June 19th. We will have everyone meet at the main office headquarters at Finley. I would recommend arriving around 10-15 minutes early as we will be shuttling the crew to the work site and we don't want to leave anyone behind!
Of course, we are recommending bringing gloves and boots, a long sleeved shirt, hat, sunscreen and a water bottle. We are hoping it won't be too hot by then!
If you could just send me an email with the approximate numbers on how many of your weed-spotters plan to attend that would be great!

June 19 works for me and I will ask the Weed Spotters. This is good because I had something scheduled for them on June 8 that I need to cancel, so I can offer the June 19 event as an alternative.
