Call for Presenters!
The Sustainable Schools – Sustainable Solutions Conference is seeking concurrent session proposals for the 3rd annual conference on Tuesday, June 25th, 2013, in West Linn, OR.
The submittal deadline for proposals is Wednesday, April 19, 2013. Concurrent Sessions are 75 minutes in length.
WHO? If you are a district or school administrator, formal or nonformal educator, school board member, facilities, food, transportation, purchasing, business or other staff, college of education faculty, business, government or community leader, you have something to offer. Tell us!
Concurrent Session Topics will draw from the 4 sustainable school award pillars:
- Environmental Impact – Buildings, Grounds and Operations
- Healthy, Safe Students and Staff
- Education for Sustainability – Environmental and Social Literacy
- Social Sustainability and Responsibility
And will be arranged in the following five strands:
- Financing your Sustainability Efforts
- Resilient Community/School Partnerships that Educate for Sustainability
- Using the School Facility as an Educational Resource
- Building Bridges to College and Career for Resilient Communities
- Designing for Resilience and Sustainability
