Hello,

 

Do you enjoy spending time surveying for and controlling invasive plants?

 

Are you curious about how to trap invasive snapping turtles or red eared sliders? 

 

Are you interested in educating the public about invasive species? 

 

Then you have come to the right place! 

 

I am excited to announce that the Tualatin Soil and Water Conservation District is hiring for an Invasive Species Technician 1 position!  Applications will be accepted until Friday, February 21^st.

The technician will collaborate with program partners to implement invasive species eradication efforts throughout Washington County in support of Tualatin SWCD’s conservation objectives.

 

Major duties include identification and treatment of invasive species, revegetation, data collection, herbicide application, and coordination with contractors and property owners.
