Title: Snow and Ice as Soil Forming Factors in Alaskan Gelisols - Alexsandra Kalisz

Bio: I am a first-year PhD student studying pedology under Dr. Yakun Zhang. My primary research looks at understanding andisol soil formation and using MIR spectroscopy to predict andic soil properties. This seminar is derived from knowledge I gained on the University of Alaska - Fairbanks Arctic Soil Geography Trip this summer.
