to join Benton SWCD and our partners in
Let's Pull Together! We're collaborating with Corvallis
Parks & Recreation,
Marys River Watershed Council,
Albany Parks & Recreation, and the
City of Philomath to keep invasive plant species wishing they had never come to Oregon!
When: Saturday, May 21st
What: Pulling invasive species from Benton County's natural areas

Witham Hill Natural Area; 9am - Noon
Near intersection of NW Circle Blvd and NW Witham Hill Drive
Join us at Witham Hill Natural area on NW Circle Blvd in Corvallis where we’ll work on removing invasive English hawthorn. This will involve using a weed wrench as well as cutting hawthorn with loppers and hand saws. We hope to see you there.

Takena Landing Park; 10am - Noon
656 Albany Corvallis Higway, Albany 97321
Cutting and pulling ivy will be the name of the game at Takena Landing Park. This floodplain forest is valuable habitat right along the Willamette River. Come help protect the giant cottonwood trees!

Marys River Park offers great streamside habitat right in Philomath. Grab a pair of loppers (provided) and help us cut blackberry along the forest edge and cut ivy off the trees in the floodplain
