Pacific Northwest Drought Early Warning System       Oregon-Washington Water Year 2023 Recap and 2024 Outlook Meeting   November 1-2, 2023: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT Location: Virtual   The 18th annual Oregon-Washington Water Year Meeting: 2023 Recap and 2024 Outlook will be held virtually. The goal of this meeting is to share and gather information regarding the climate impacts of the 2023 water year. The meeting will discuss the extended summer of 2022 into fall, drought development across Washington and northwest Oregon, drought improvement over southeastern Oregon, and rapid spring snowmelt.   We encourage participation from a wide range of sectors including utilities, agriculture, and forestry. A detailed agenda will be available soon. There is no cost to attend, but you are required to register. Learn more >   Register for the virtual meeting     2023 Idaho Fall Water Supply Meeting   November 14, 2023, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. MT Location: In person at Idaho Water Center   The Idaho Fall Water Supply Outlook is an annual meeting held to recap the water supply from the previous water year and provide climate and water supply outlook information for the coming water year. This year, the meeting will be held in person at the Idaho Water Center, 322 E. Front Street, Room 602, in Boise, Idaho.   These meetings are critical to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities to increase drought and climate resilience in the agricultural, power, and recreational sectors of Idaho’s economy, which are dependent on the state’s water resources.    Register for the in person meeting     For more information on any of these updates, please contact britt....@noaa.gov.
