Are you missing out on a fabulous free twofer?? 🤯🥳🎉
The Public Seed Library is hosting Cynthia Dort of Dort Worm Farms on Thursday March 6 from 1- 2 PM in the Corvallis Library's Main Meeting Room. That's tomorrow! Come learn how the scraps from the vegetables and fruits you buy to eat can feed red wiggler
worms who will make compost for you... and then that compost will feed your soil microbes, improving the health of the soil and all you grow in your garden! A free twofer!!
This free presentation will cover how worm castings improve soil and garden growth, how to simply build a functional and efficient worm bin, how to feed your worms, and maintain your worm farm year round. She'll demonstrate how to build and set up your
bin. This is doable whether you live alone or have a family with kids-- in fact worm bins are a great kid's activity to get kids interested and involved in gardening with the adults in their life. Getting your bin ready could be a fun Spring Break activity
too.
