OPEN STREETS IS THIS SUNDAY!
Join the 7th annual free street festival
|
|
|
Open Streets returns this
Sunday, June 29, from 11 am to 3 pm, giving all of us an opportunity to re-imagine our shared public spaces – streets and
parks – as places for people to walk, bike, and play. This year’s festival features a car-free route between Lilly Park and Willamette Park in South Corvallis.
The festival will include giant games in the parks, bicycle-powered rides, art activities, local food and drink, street installations, dance, live music
– and much more!
|
|
|
Check out some live music and dance at our local parks:
- Lilly Park – The dance stage line-up features swing dancing, Rumbanana Cuban Salsa, contra dancing with live music from The Nettles, and a traditional dance performance by Corazón
Oaxaqueño.
- Willamette Park – The music stage features DTW, Singchronicity, and Mule on Fire.
You’re also invited to join an Open Streets favorite: the amazing community
parade
that travels from Lilly Park to Willamette Park, starting at 11:15 am.
Hungry or thirsty? Plan to purchase lunch, a snack, or a delicious drink from one of the many food vendors. And set aside plenty of time to visit some
of the more than 50 booths set up throughout the event, sponsored by local organizations – including three hosted by the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition!

Don't throw good stuff away!
This FREE ReUse Directory gives you an easy way to find businesses/organizations in the Corvallis and Philomath area that accept reusable items. A few
examples include both small and large appliances, building materials, computers and office equipment, and household goods of all kinds.
Using items again and again conserves our precious natural resources, saves limited landfill space, and can even save you
money!
|
|
- Pick up a copy of the
2025 ReUse Directory – the newest version!
- Find out about the Recycling Modernization Act that goes into effect on July 1st
