Farming for the Future: Native Seed Production Tour
Join the Institute for Applied Ecology (IAE) and Benton Soil and Water Conservation District (BSWCD) to tour IAE's native plant farm with experts in propagating and producing native plants to provide restoration sites with pollinator and wildlife resources. We will gather Tuesday, May 10 at 1 pm at the Oregon State University Vegetable Farm plots dedicated to raising native plants. BSWCD and IAE staff will discuss techniques for native plant production and management, weed control, use of fire, companion planting, and lessons learned. Join us and learn from our community's native plant experts. Please dress appropriately for this outdoor event, including boots. Questions or to RSVP: mic...@appliedeco.org.

I have Tuesday, May 10 at 1 PM on my calendar for the IAE NP tour.
It will no longer be natural areas week, so we will revise the outreach blurb.

What if we did something like Tuesday at 1p?
I know Michel and EE folks won't make it but it looks like a good time for the rest of us.

So I know Mara was thinking Tuesday, May 10 at 10am. I'm not sure I can make it although I also don't need to be there. Sounds nice for Teresa to be there so since the SWCD is a partner in this!

Hi, IAE folks, should we get on a call soon to discuss a new date?
I'd like to help, but I have agreed to help EE at Bald Hill next Tues and Thurs.
Busy times,
Michel

Hi Teresa,
It was looking so beautiful out last night!!
Mara and I just talked about rescheduling this next Tuesday, but looks like I will be out at Bald Hill with Aves Compartidas that day. Also, - Karen of IAE plans to have the IAE canopies there that week. But, you may not need either me or the canopies - just depends on how quickly you want this to happen.
Let me know what you think!
Thanks,
Michel
