Subject: Quarterly Gathering is July 31st - PLEASE RESPOND

Dear Friends of Sustainability,

The next Sustainability Coalition Quarterly Gathering is coming up soon, and we hope you’ll be part of it!

Please mark your calendar for Wednesday, July 31, from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library.

We hope you’ll join us for lively presentations by

  • April & Craig Hall Cutting – Wild Yeast Bakery
  •  Elizabeth Jones – Stone Soup
  • Adrienne Fritze – RemarkableArts/Conundrum House
  • Jeanette Hardison – Waste Prevention Action Team

Participate in stimulating dialogue with others who are helping to create a sustainable community, and enjoy delicious refreshments from First Alternative Co-op.

This is also a great opportunity to network with others who are working on various aspects of sustainability – environmental, social, and economic.

Please respond with a simple “yes” or “no” by Monday, July 29, to let us know if you plan to attend.

The Quarterly Gatherings are always fast-paced, informative, and very inspiring.  We hope you’ll join us on July 31st!

Annette

I live within the traditional homeland of the Ampinefu Band of Kalapuya.  Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya …Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations at either Grand Ronde or Siletz. Today, the Kalapuya live on tribal lands or tribal-ceded lands throughout the region. Many Kalapuya are active members of the sovereign nations of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde or the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. Kalapuya culture is alive.
