Subject: Edible Garden Tour in NE Corvallis - Gardens needed!

This summer's Edible Garden Tour will be in NE Corvallis –
but we need a few more hosts!

Do YOU know of a garden you’d like to suggest as a host site?

Members of the Sustainability Coalition’s Food Action Team will be walking the following area TOMORROW AFTERNOON (Saturday 6/29/24) to look for a few more gardens to feature on the tour (see attached map):

  • North of Circle Blvd
  • Between Hwy 20 and Hwy 99 (to the west of Highway 20 and to the East of Hwy 99)
  • South of Jackson Frazier Wetland

Please email in...@sustainablecorvallis.org if you know of possible host sites.

Thanks for your help!

Annette

I live within the traditional homeland of the Ampinefu Band of Kalapuya.  Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya …Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations at either Grand Ronde or Siletz. Today, the Kalapuya live on tribal lands or tribal-ceded lands throughout the region. Many Kalapuya are active members of the sovereign nations of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde or the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. Kalapuya culture is alive.
