NRCS EQIP & CSP: Apply now for on-farm conservation funding

The deadline for applications for the NRCS Regenerative Pilot Program funding cycle, which includes EQIP and CSP, is January 15, 2026.

We recognize this is a very short turnaround for the 1/15 deadline!
If you are are producer interested in applying, we recommend contacting your local NRCS office as soon as possible to apply.

Get funded for on-farm conservation

We are reaching out to let you know that the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has launched its Regenerative Pilot Program.

This is a new opportunity from NRCS to apply for funding that will center “whole-farm holistic conservation planning” and “site-specific solutions” that work for your objectives and goals, utilizing investments from two existing programs: the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) and the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP).

See the full announcement from Oregon NRCS here.

How to Apply

The deadline to apply is the same for all programs: January 15, 2026.

  • First, see which programs are available in your county using this tool: “What’s Available In My County?”
  • Then, contact your local NRCS office (find out where by using this link) and let them know you would like to apply for EQIP or CSP funding. Note: Producers need to have a farm number from the USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) before applying.
