SHIFT TOGETHER: HOME RETROFIT CLINIC
Take action as part of the Sustainability Coalition’s newest initiative to rein in climate change – Shift Together! Nancy Evenson, a retired architect, offers free home retrofit clinics to help people move along the path toward increased energy efficiency.  Nancy will analyze your home’s current use of energy and help you identify the most important upgrades and the financial incentives that help you get there. Gather 3 or 4 households together (yours and 2-3 others) to arrange a date and time to come to Nancy’s home for a 2-hour session.

EDIBLE GARDEN TOUR – BONUS SITE!
If you missed last month’s Edible Garden Tour, or if you attended and are eager to see more, mark your calendar to visit this “bonus” site! The owner of the featured garden grows a variety of fruits, vegetables, and flowers, and he has created some unique inventions and developed methods to make the most of his yard. Examples include a greywater system designed to reuse water from inside his house, raised beds using discarded metal roofing, and fruit trees planted close together and pruned in a way that allows them to thrive.
