2.      Maitreya Relics are coming to Daylesford and Braybrook

This rare and precious collection of sacred relics of the historical Buddha and many other Buddhist masters from many traditions is touring the world, and will be exhibited in Daylesford and Braybrook from 31st Jan’13 to 7th Feb’13.

Many of the relics resemble beautiful pearl-like crystals, which were found among the cremation ashes of Buddhist masters, and are said to embody the masters’ spiritual qualities of compassion and wisdom. Until this tour, most of these relics have been enshrined inside statues and stupas unavailable for viewing. The exhibition includes relics from Shakyamuni Buddha that were donated to the touring exhibition by His Holiness The Dalai Lama.

Millions of people have attended these exhibitions across the world and often report experiences of inspiration and peace when in the presence of the relics.
