Dear Members and Friends of the BSV (Buddhaloka and Sanghamittarama),

Please see below the news and program for this week.

1.      Ajahn Achalo’s request for Dedications for his father

This is for those for knows Ajahn Achalo, an Australian monk ordained under Ajahn Char’s lineage, and who has visited BSV a number of times in the last few years.

Ajahn Achalo’s father has been diagnosed with lung cancer. Initial biopsies suggest that it has not yet spread and that it may be operable. Ajahn Achalo is taking a 2-weeks meditation retreat of intense practice to focus on prayers for his dad wellbeing.

If you would like to offer good wishes and to add to this wholesome energy of Ajahn, you can do so in your own individual meditation practice. During your meditation, you can wish for yourselves be well, happy and peaceful and to generate some positive energies. Then you may wish to share your good wishes, loving kindness and positive energies with Melton Hansen, who is aged 76, living in the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. May Melton Hansen overcome this illness and experience peacefulness in his mind, and that when the time comes, may he die in the most timely and auspicious manner.

With lots of metta from Ajahn Achalo.
