Alachi celebrates PhD at BSU catholic chaplaincy

Dr Omada Virginia Alachi a curriculu/instruction lecturer with Benue
State University toay celebrated her recently earned PhD in curriculum
and instruction.
The event involved a special thanksgiving service at the Good
Sherphard Catholic Chaplaicy of the university and a reception at the
university staff club.
It was a double celebration including that for successful earning of
the MBBS degree by her first daughter Sonia Aladi Alachi.
Dr Virginia Alachi is wife to Prof. James Alachi director of National
Open University Otukpo Study Centre.
She was born September 15 1957 in Orokam Ogbadibo LGA and married in
1976. The marriage has produced six children.
Dr Alachi studied at RCM Sch. Orokam (1964-1970), Holy Rosary TTC
Adoka (1971 -1975), College of Education Katsina Ala (1980- 1983),
before proceeding to University of Nigeria Nsukka for her B.Ed. In
principles and methods of education (1990), Benue State University for
the rest of her degrees: M.Sc. Public Administration (2002), M.Ed.
Curriculum and instruction (2005) and PhD curriculum and instruction
(2011).
She taught at primary and secondary schools and at College of
Education Katsina Ala befor joining Benue State University in 1995
