Is BST-Player or only the group post discontinuing

Please tell me what the message on the group bulletin board mean. Is
BST-Player or only the group post discontinuing?

After August 31, 2011, this feature and the zip file downloads will be
turned off permanently.

The project is still active and group posting available. It appears
Google is updating the groups application and will be turning off some
features of this present version after this date.
