Hi everyone,

Ouso, Njogu, Calvince and Hongo were present. Tabby, Kiruga and
somebody were absent with apologies.

It was decided that a training be organized to jump-start the society
in terms of finances. ILRI, ICIPE, KEMRI plus maybe I propose Lancet
Kenya, Ouso had the icipe marketing call, Hongo ilri and Njogu kemri
while Lancet hasn't gotten someone though still a proposal.
Developments on making initial contacts are to be known on a Monday
meeting (check it out)

You are urged to take up Lancet marketing call and/or join the other
marketing calls.

Hongo was also to draft a letter that will be addressed to this
institutions and post it here.

Njogu was further to find time with the current dean of SPAS to serve
him with info about us.

Yeah we already rollin good, is it? Lovely wknd......

Hello dudes and dudets.. (eeehhhhh),
I must first say thank you to all of you for holding us together so
far. I am proud of the tenacity that you have shown and is glad to
have met you. Having said that, I am paying my dues by availing a
template body for the introductory letters that I hope we could email
to different individuals representing various organizations that we
hope to involve in the proposed capacity building workshop. Ouso left
out KARI in his list and the suggestion to include Lancet is welcome
coz I believe that the more the merrier. Kindly find the body included
as an attachment to this post.

I hasten to add that my contact at ILRI has changed jobs and I hope to
get through to the new guy called Kingori soon. I will keep you
updated. Lets keep rolling....

Sorry guys, technological challenges have ensured that I exclude the
attachment in my first post. Kindly find it attached to this post. The
letter is addressed to ILRI and provides a template to be used in
structuring other letters to different organizations. It would
therefore be necessary to change the ILRI address both in the
addressed contact person and the body of the letter. Since different
organizations are to tackle different areas, ensure that you be
specific on the areas that you would have an organization address.
Keep working and good luck.....

Hello once more my pple...
Thank you so much Ouso for the efforts you are making. I like the
initiative that you have shown. I am yet to get through with the ILRI
guys but hope to get a meeting date with them Kesho. @ Justin, I hope
we can go to ILRI together before the week ends.@ Tabby, welcome back
my dear, the show is on!!!! We have up to the end of this week to
dispense with the marketing calls so that we can set a tentative date
for the training. Let the ball keep rolling.
