Titles & third edits

Hi everyone,

Thank you to folks who were able to stop by Beers & Titles yesterday! It was lovely seeing everyone in person, and we had a rockin' brainstorm session. 

A couple orders of business as we prepare for final drafts. The third round of edits is due to authors today, and final drafts will be due next Friday (9/19). Let me know if you're still having trouble getting a hold of a third draft, and I can send out individual reminder emails to authors. 

Article titles should also be finalized by next Friday, so please add the chosen article title for the article you're editing to the story assignments sheet by then. The list we brainstormed at Beers & Titles is here, but you can also choose any titles you or the author may come up with. First editors have the final say on article titles, but please let your author know in advance what title you're thinking of so they have a chance to give feedback.

Finally, please reach out to your author this week to confirm their departmental affiliation and how they want their name to show up in the magazine, and make sure it matches what's in the story assignments sheet (this includes any accents, etc). Please have these updated in the sheet by next Friday.
