In DGM recruitment, BSNL executives having 12 years experiance in JTO
onwards out of which at least 4 years experiance should be as SDE
onwards and educational qualification as B.Sc. First class/B.Tech (any
stream except civil) should also be allowed to apply for External DGM
exam.
The Executive with 12 years exeperiance as JTO onwards will be more
better than the candidate having 12 experiance in a non telecom
domain. Also 12 year exeperiance in telecom engineering field is
equally good as B.Tech (Electronics/CS/IT).
It is now our duty to project capabilties & importance of our cadre
to the management. Most of us are MBAs or pursuing the same. All of us
has watched the transition phase from DoT to BSNL and from landline to
Mobile, broadband and now Wi max.We have ability and adaptibility to
work in any envoirement. So why one of us can not be good Manager.
This fact is to be brought in the mind of Management.
For this we should draft a detailed report of work and duties
performed by the JTO/SDE and submit the same to BSNL management and
ask him why a person performing these duties for 12 years can not
perform as DGM if qualify in the exam.
Overall It is question of giving oppurtunity to the employees already
working in the organisation only.
