There is no need for MT recruitment. JTO is a well qualified cadre and
BSNL have to make envoirement for grooming JTO as MT and like JTO to
SDE competitive exam, SDE to DE exam can be introduced.
However if BSNL management feels utmost requirement of recruitment at
this level, then there should be only 25% external recruitment. Rest
of 25% MT recruitment should be made from SDEs having 4 years of
regular service with no age or qualification bar.
The JTOs having a specified service in BSNL should be allowed to
compete as external candidate and 6 years of age relaxation &
exemption from having MBA degree in lieu of specified service in BSNL
can be given to them in external quota.
This will give following benifits:
1. There will be uniform oppurtunity for growth to every one in BSNL.
2. Subordinate can not become boss of his superior.
3. This will end the old ITS dominated management.

If Recruitment of MT takes place then it is dead sure the subordinates will become boss of his superior which is the humiliation of the superiors. Therefore MT recruitment must be opposed at any cost.If MT recruitment is compulsory then relaxation of age may be allowed for the years job rendered by executive above 4 years required experience and if possible without qualification bar as the executives with 4 yearsexperience are fully competent for the post of MT.
