Dear BSNA and GBC Family,

I am saddened to inform you that Mrs. Usha Shelat wife of Shri Girish Shelat passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015. Usha ji and her family is a BSNA Life Member for a long time. Usha ji along with Girish Bhai was very active in social, religious and BSNA related activities. She will be certainly missed within the BSNA family.

On behalf of BSNA and GBC we pray to ParBrahma Vishnu for granting peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved Shelat family to bear this pain of separation.

Our beloved Mother left this life on Sunday, 9/27/15, which also was an auspicious super moon lunar eclipse. The services to honor her and celebrate her life are as follows:

Date: Thursday October 1, 2015 at 9:30 am

Venue: Alvarez Funeraria (Funeral Home)

Address of Funeral Home: 66 Passaic Ave, Passaic, NJ 07055

Address of Restaurant following services (Mantra): 275 E, Rt 4 (Westbound) Paramus, NJ 07652

 

Schedule of Events:

9:30 - 10am: Viewing at Funeral Home

10am: Start of Pooja (traditional ceremony) at Funeral Home

10:45 - 12:30: Reflections: Attendees welcome to speak, share favorite memories, sing/chant bhajans/Geeta verses

12:30: Family procession to crematorium

12:30: Attendees depart for restaurant (about 30 minutes away – Mantra, 275 E, Rt 4 (Westbound) Paramus, NJ 07652)

2:00pm: Family arrives at restaurant following cremation

Buffet until 3pm at Mantra restaurant

We want to thank you for your thoughts and prayers for Mom throughout this unbearably difficult time and for your support of our family and especially our Dad.
