יחזקאל (זאב רווח, שזכה בפרס אופיר על תפקידו) ולבנה הם זוג הגר בבית אבות ירושלמי. כדי לסייע למקס הגוסס מסרטן ולאשתו יאנה, חברתם הטובה, יחזקאל בונה מכונה להמתה עצמית של חסד. לצורך כך הוא נעזר בדייר חדש בבית האבות - ווטרינר לשעבר שתורם מנסיונו. כשהשמועה בדבר מכשיר הפלא עוברת מפה למכשירי שמיעה מתקבלות בקשות נוספות לעזרה מהחבורה האדיבה. קומדיה שחורה המתעסקת בנושא כאוב עד מוות. מועמד ל-14 פרסי אופיר.

THE FAREWELL PARTY
THE FAREWELL PARTY is a compassionate dark comedy about friendship and knowing when to say goodbye. A group of friends at a Jerusalem retirement home build a machine for self-euthanasia in order to help their terminally ill friend. When rumors of the machine begin to spread, more and more people ask for their help, and the friends are faced with an emotional dilemma.
