Merge BSP files OR convert from SAM to BSP

Hi,
I've started using BSMAP and am looking forward to the output.
There is information on the website on how to convert from bsp format to sam and bam but not the other way around.
I need to merge data from 2 lanes, which i ususally do using samtools. Is there a way to either (i) merge the bsp files or (ii) convert from sam format to bsp format?
