BSMap on Mac

Hi,

Are there any known issues with running BSMap on Mac? The readme says
that it is designed for Linux64 but the best computer I have access to
is a Leopard Mac. I complied with default options but when it comes to
allocating memory, the program crashes with the following output when
aligning against an entire genome:

bsmap(86257) malloc: *** mmap(size=114688) failed (error code=12)
*** error: can't allocate region
*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_alloc'
what(): St9bad_alloc
Abort trap

I guess that the problem is due to memory - would more memory solve
the problem? Does the size=114688 mean that enough memory cannot be
allocated?
