Hi everyone,
The USB port on our Amazon Kindle 7 kids tablet has just about given up the ghost. I have taken it apart as far as I can and the port itself appears to be mounted properly, so I guess the problem lies inside the USB connector itself.
My initial hope was to try to either replace the USB connector or run a pair of wires externally and make up an external connector to allow it to charge, but looking at the space on the board I realise that it’s beyond my skills.
Would anyone with the required skills be around one evening to take a look and see what they would be able to do?
Many thanks
David
