I really like it! Is there any copyright concerns or are the media snippets short enough?  Think it's awesome though...I'm gonna watch it a few times to see if any thing jumps out at me...

Welllllll technically, each clip is less than 8 seconds... but they're both from the same commercial, which kinda breaks fair use, I think... we could source some other material that has the same messages for the second part...

also, entirely dissatisfied with the amount of silence, now that I have seen it post-production. I need several additional appropriate clips.

Just me... but why not film our own clips instead of using someone elses?

Those were pretty powerful clips, though, yeah? Iconic Detroit, and whatnot. With a bit of editing and some more audio dubbed in, it should seem much better. I would like to do a cutting together of a bunch of movie scenes or selected pieces of different dialog, like a soundboard, to make it seem like they're talking about B-Sides.

I do encourage you to record several spots for it, too, though. The more viral publicity we have, the better.

Also, Chris at some point, we need to sass out the locksport side of this, and you need to start selling that up, too.
You have better ties to that community around here than I do.

Kyle,

I'm thinking maybe a table or so, enough room for about a dozen people to pick locks at one time. Might also throw down the gauntlet at Ken's feet to have the first Detroit vs Ann Arbor challenge. See which group has the better pickers. (I think Ann Arbor, but I'm biased).

how about, like, a whole big-ass room? like... http://www.rencenmeetings.com/rooms/floorplan/ the waterfront lounge? or at least a few tables in it?

Just kind of an "out there" idea, but why not contact Chrysler's PR firm for sponsorship AND see if we can get permission to use the clips?  I don't think that you will legally get away with using eminem's likeness, and both he and chrysler have quite large legal firms behind them
