I have included an image that shows this unassuming venue from the
outside, and indicates the entrance, though there will be sign-age on
the day of, to indicate the venue. There is plenty of parking, both in
the garage directly across the street, and in the surrounding blocks.
When I first decided to host a B-Sides event, I had mused about how
awesome it might be to hold it in a decrepit warehouse. Instead, we
have something a step above. We have a space that was a decrepit
warehouse, since transformed into an excellent space for an event like
ours. The feel of it is just so perfect, and the layout of their
equipment creates perfect alcoves for people to chill in and talk. The
facility is broken off into rooms, perfect for holding our lockpicking
events and we have talked with OCP about holding a hardware workshop
as well. The Detroit TOOOL crew can speak to the outstanding character
and superb blending of tech and grunge that makes this venue ideal.
The best part? It is in the middle of Eastern Market. This means that
parking is now free and we have more than enough available, that food
and alcohol choices are now plentiful and cheap, and that we are even
able to make our own, bought within a block of the venue.
I hope that everyone else is as enthusiastic about this (large) shift
as I am, though I know they will be once they see it. I am so excited
for this to be a reality, and only two weeks away.

Please let me know if there is anything I should add or take out
before I throw this out to the attendees.

OK Guys, OCD voted +1 to this project and so we can move forward. I
know we have an aggressive timeline. The busiest days will probably
be 6/2, 3, and 4, but if there's anything else you need from us don't
hesitate to ask.
