Any of you guys have the ability to take the badges and run with them?  Have access to mass printing and lamination?  Also we need a figure for how much lanyards will cost or we hit up a sponsor for some of those.

speaking of badges, christian, if you can add a record to that robocop image... I will push it to a badge and place that order.

Can he be holding it, or some such? I'm awful with vectors.

I sent the flyer to the Western Michigan ISACA group to be passed out as well as to my local Midland NAISG group.  Rapid7 is still looking into sponsoring but told me they are planning on sending a speaker.

Can our conference venue support a Capture the Flag event?  I know that the ISSA is planning a CTF on the BSides weekend, so I want thinking we could propose that we merge events.

If you do that and need hardware, I might be able to bring 10 gaming class computers that you could stage with whatever you want (need to look at class schedules and make sure everyone is on board).  Alternatively, we could “connect” sites via a dedicated line to make it look like the real world.  One site at Baker, one site at UDM, clients at BSides… Just a thought.

I heard back from Rapid7 this morning, they will not be able to sponsor or send a speaker as they had planned........

Latest news is that Baker is booked with prior commitments, so the CTF is being delayed.  I wanted to see if there was a possibility of integrating the ISSA CTF with BSides.

I thought the ISSA CTF up in Auburn Hills was the 20th and 21st. Is there another one?

The event was schedule initially for 5/20 - 5/21.  However, Baker College came back and said that they could not provide the needed space until this Fall.  If the space is available, I think this could bring more people to BSides.  It's a Win Win situation.
