Hey all,

So, according to the meetup meeting that Jake setup, the meeting starts at 6:00 pm tonight, not our normal 6:30 pm (I believe there is a reason for this, I don't remember it, probably about Jake wanting to get home and see his family...something crazy like that anyway).

Topic is SOLID Principles.

If you haven't see it, check out the link below.

Thanks Chris. I thought we normally start at 7:00, so I would have
missed the whole thing.

Actually, the BSDG start time is usually (as been) 7, not 6:30, fwiw. The Boise Dot Net User Group starts at 6:30.

I won't be able to make it tonight, but am interested. Can we stream it or something? Also please discuss future topics and schedule, specifically July - maybe 3rd Thursday?

Some proposed topics:
  • Docker and containers - platforms as a service
  • CData Cloud SaaS SQL Connectors - really cool technology that lets you right SQL-92 against Twilio, Twitter, Facebook, SurveyMonkey, etc.
  • Packages and Package managers (NuGet, MyGet, Chocolately, etc.)
  • Browser fingerprinting & super-cookies - what, how, why, and what to do about it
  • What's new in Delphi and FireMonkey mobile development
What is the interest for these topics?
Does anyone want to co-present on one of these topics?
Does anyone have an entirely different topic they want to present alongside of it in place of these?

Hey Jim,

Meeting went well.  I didn't see this message until too late, so I did not check on streaming.

Anyway, another topic that came up during my talk was on Service Busses (what are they, what are the benefits, how to use).  Much of the crowd have not used one or even researched them.
