Package Implementation Methodology

Hi Everyone,

First of all, for those of you who remember who I am, greetings! I'm back in the area after spending 3 years in Costa Rica.

I'm moving into a new role doing the project management of an Aviation Mantaince System package implementation. And I'm wondering if there are well-documented methodologies for this. I'm expecting there to be significant differences between managing a development project and an implementation project. So I'd appreciate any guidance you can provide.
