Hey guys,

Doug and Steve Reece have graciously offered to lead next weeks meeting.  Doug is going to be talking about his product, Song Show Plus (SSP), which is a very cool product.  I hope you all come and check it out.

Development of the SSP SDK involved using a number of interesting technologies. Perhaps the one that may be of most interest to those in our group is the development of a Visual Studio wizard plug-in. We will discuss this at length, as well as technologies and code involving XML/XSLT, building an MSI-based installer from scratch (no use of InstallSheild, etc), DirectX, and COM marshalling (the beauty of adapters).

Also, next week is an MSDN event: MSDN Event - Silverlight 2.0, SQL Server 2008 and VSTO

Our meeting and this event will be on the same day, and I'll be at both.  So if you show up at the msdn event and not BSDG -- I will know.

Actually, it's myself and Steven Hansen who will be the giving the presentation. Steve Reece will be the one in the audience heckling us.

I’ll be warming up my voice all week.  Good heckling is even more important than a good presentation.
