I wish to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude for the warmth and impeccable hospitality my colleagues and I received during our visit to your institutes for the Taj Campus Placements. Every visit made us feel special, and the warm welcome, sumptuous meals and fond farewell were truly appreciated – A BIG THANK YOU
Moving on to the next part of the Placements phase, may I request you to please revert on the following points
- We would require the Resumes (as per the format attached) of all those students who have been shortlisted for the Personal Interviews Round I. These resumes need to reach my office by Wednesday, November 2 2011. If all the details are printed, it would be better and neater; however if they have to be hand-written, then please ask the students to fill the details NEATLY in CAPITAL LETTERS. Colleges that have already sent the Resumes need not resend
- The probable dates for the Personal Interviews Round I are now, Monday & Tuesday, November 7 & 8, 2011. Kindly revert by tomorrow evening, if any of these dates are not feasible.
- We would also like to have details of the students who have received other offers/status of the interview phase from other hotels. Please have these details mentioned alongside the name of the Shortlist attachment sent to you earlier. I would require these details mailed back to me by Wednesday, November 2 2011
- For all those students who have not been shortlisted including those who did not get an opportunity to sit for the Taj Campus Placements on account of academic performance, please send in their Resumes to us separately at your convenience – we will interview them in early 2012 for our entry level positions across various brands.

The Taj Group of Hotels would like to visit your institutes for Campus Placements 2011-12. Below is the detail of how the process will work
- Attached are 2 excel sheets
- Resume Template – All students are required to have their resume’s in this format
- Marks and Attendance records – Please fill in the details of the students in the prescribed form and have the same sent back to me by Oct. 12 2011. Also fill in their Dept. of Interest in the last column
- Once we have received this data from you, we will start with the selection process
- Short listing of students based on their 3 year academic performance and attendance
- Shortlisted students will then go through a written test, group discussion and personal interview
- The written test and group discussion will take place on Campus. The personal interviews may happen either on campus or at one of the Taj hotels
- You are requested to fill in details in the format listed below for preferred dates for the written tests and group discussions. The dates for the Personal interviews will be communicated later. May I request you to please provide dates for October only?
I understand that some of you may not have many dates open in October, in which case we would like to complete the Written tests in October and do the other two rounds on later dates
