Hull University Business School PhD Scholarships
The Business School at the University of Hull, UK, is pleased to offer 4 scholarships to PhD candidates who show exceptional promise in one of our internationally recognised research areas:
· Accounting & Accountability
· Economics
· Empirical Finance & Banking
· Ethics, Organization and Society
· Leadership and Organizational Change
· Logistics, Project Management, Supply Chains & Operations Management
· Marketing
· Regional and International Business
· Systems Thinking, Cybernetics, Complexity, Problem Structuring & Information Systems
Our four scholarships will be awarded on the basis of the best overall applications and research proposals submitted on topics that staff members are available to supervise.
The scholarships cover the full tuition fees, regardless of nationality, for a maximum of 3 years on a full-time PhD degree. In addition, UK/EU students will receive a stipend of £14,057 per year for a maximum of 3 years, and international students (from outside the EU) will receive a stipend of £5,809 per year for a maximum of 3 years (these are 2015 figures and we are expecting a small upwards adjustment before the successful candidates start their studies).
The deadline for applications is 31 March 2016 for September 2016 entry.

In addition to the above, the University of Hull also has 60 scholarships (with a 29 February 2016 application deadline) to offer for pre-defined research topics across a broad range of disciplines. These include 8 to be supervised by Business School staff: 6 in “Resilience and Sustainability of Complex Socio-Ecological Systems” and 2 in “The Logistics and Humber Development Institute”.
