Job Description:
The ideal candidate for this position should have a sense of urgency and be self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
This position requires excellent prospecting skills. Responsible for creating qualified leads with relevant criteria for new account targets within designated territory, uncovering contacts using online sources for C-level individuals at named accounts, and effective account transition to Inside Sales Executives.
We’re looking for passionate, driven professionals with the energy to handle a fairly high volume of activity and the willingness to do what it takes to succeed.
Job Responsibilities:
• Development of the prospect pipeline through identification, targeting and soliciting online/phone meetings with prospects and developing qualified leads
• Clean up and document all leads provided by various corporate marketing programs. Possess the ability and the daily discipline necessary to focus on the important activities
• Support marketing programs as needed, such as creation and maintenance of mailing lists, invitations
• Pull data from online sources like LinkedIn, Hoovers, Jigsaw and prospect websites as needed
• Demonstrates an ability to work as part of a team
• Basic technology industry awareness
• Lead prospecting to identify, contact and qualify potential customers
• Closed-loop tracking and metrics reporting to management
• Meets or exceeds required targets on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
• Submits timely updates and inputs in SalesForce.com with an eye for accuracy and detail
• Responds to telephone calls and email requests from employees in a timely manner
Job Requirements:
• MBA degree from a reputed Institution.
• Proven success in accessing new clients and new markets.
• Prior experience with Salesforce.com and Lead management solutions like Marketo or Genius is a big plus
• Ability to self-motivate, multi-task and work independently or within a team of peers and partners
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidates with additional language skills preferred
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and professionalism with a high degree of integrity
• Participate fully in meetings, training sessions, individual professional development and skill building
