this weekend's trip to Manzana Schoolhouse

Scouts, since Tuesday's meeting is an Eagle Court, we won't have much time to plan this weekend's trip to Manzana Schoolhouse. It is an extraordinary hike through a scenic canyon, and an almost entirely flat hike. We'll be leaving Saturday early (8 am) and staying two nights, returning Monday early afternoon. If you haven't already personally confirmed that you are coming, please do so with me over email by Tuesday's meeting. I have light, warm gear to lend new Scouts.

Advancement to Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class, and also work for the Camping Merit Badge, depend on participation in overnight outings. They are also excellent opportunities to take care of other requirements for those ranks. And this is just a great trip, for parents as well as Scouts! I hope you can join us on it.
