If you have Scouts in the 8^th grade, this information maybe be helpful.  It’s not a huge scholarship, however every little bit helps!

The Scranton Area Community Foundation is honored to administer the Constance M. and Joseph A. Brocavich Memorial Scholarship.  This scholarship is for students entering a catholic high school in Lackawanna County and are involved in scouting.  If you could promote this scholarship among your scouts, we would greatly appreciate it.

Attached are the criteria and application for the Constance M. and Joseph A. Brocavich Memorial Scholarship for an incoming freshman student at a catholic high school in Lackawanna County.  Please mention the scholarship to any scouts who are in eight grade.  Please have the students mail the applications directly to the Scranton Area Foundation as directed on the top of the application. This will be a $250 a year scholarship which is renewable for 4 years.
