Summer camp update

The following message is from Ten Mike River. Early bird deposits are now due to the troop (send to Karen Bianchi) by May 12th so we can make the May 17th payment deadline. 

Please note If you have sent a check already or send prior to deadline, I will be holding it and not depositing until May 12th. This way if camp is cancelled, we can destroy or return the check vs having to issue a refund.

Our camping leadership and summer camp teams are pushing forward to operate camps at Ten Mile River, John E. Reeves Cub World and Camp Pouch Day Camp this summer.  

The Camping Committee felt it was very important in these uncertain times to allow families more time to take advantage of the camp discount for making an early commitment to camp. The GNYC Camping Committee has made the decision to extend the Early Bird Deadline for Summer Camps at Ten Mile River and John E. Reeves Cub World. The new Early Bird payment deadline is May 17th 2020.

The camper deposit and all camp fees paid for the 2020 summer camp season are refundable if we are unable to operate due to the State of New York or State of New Jersey mandating the closure of summer camps. If summer camps are allowed to operate the Refund Policy applies to operation, it can be reviewed in the Camp Leaders Guides.
