Thanks for the reply. The opportunity to go out with a dive club etc is an exciting thought, thanks.
This series will centre around presenter Iolo Williams collecting intel about the different animals and then trying to track them down, talking to local as well. This series will not concentrate on getting great quality footage, however that would be a major bonus. Instead it focuses on investigating the evidence of sightings, going out to find them and hopefully getting some footage.
Iolo is a dive master himself and so we would want him to film him underwater if possible with your permission.

Hi Osian, I have forwarded your email to Llandegfedd sailing clubs commodore with certain questions about permissions, safety, resevoir pumping times, also he may know the best areas etc, I have asked he reply direct to you and cc myself, as BSAC sports divers we do not dive for commercial gain, I could rope in a local dive club with a rib etc to help you with this venture, all I or they would ask is a donation to their club funds to cover petrol and back gas used etc, let's see what the reply is and then have a look at what needs to be done.

Hello. My name is Osian Griffiths and I work for Aden productions. We are looking to film a series over the winter months about shy elusive animals in Wales. One of the animals on our list is the Pike, and as the fish is prolific at Llandegfedd reservoir we are interested in filming there. We would be keen to try and get footage of the fish in its habitat by using a pole-cam and also filming underwater, which means locating areas of submersible vegetation. What are the logistics of a task like this, i.e. visibility, dive boat, licence required?
