Subject: WASAC AGM

Good morning,

        I want to remind you about the forthcoming WASAC AGM to be held at Cafe West within Swansea University 7-00pm 15th May 2013.  Please find attached an agenda for the meeting and a copy of the minutes from the AGM held 2012.

       All positions on the executive committee become vacant on the night, nominations including the signature of the nominee to be sent to me, e-mails acceptable.  If you have any motions or resolutions to put forward again can you send through to me asap. 

       During the course of the evening we have arranged a couple of speakers to give short but interesting presentations relating to our sport. 

      Throughout 2012/2013 WASAC Chairman David Wakelam has been working with BSAC,SAA and Sport Wales to ensure that not only does our sport have representation at National level but that clubs have continued access to Sport Council funding. 

     Also, committee members have represented clubs in discussions re- the Ramsay Sound project, The Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon project and the proposed Marine Conservation Zones.  David will give details within his Chairman's report.

     We need a good attendance, can I please ask you to encourage your members to come along, all are welcome though only the club's appointed representative is entitled to vote.  I look forward to meeting you.
