Final Troop Meeting 16 DEC - Change of Venue

Troop,

I did not carefully check the St. John facility booking schedule last week after postponing the troop meeting last week due to weather, and unfortunately, Mercy Hall and Trinity Hall (the School Gym) are both booked (h/t Mike and Melissa King).

At this point, it looks as if the youth room on the 2nd floor of the Parish Center is free.  While MUCH smaller than Mercy Hall, it appears to be the largest room available for our meeting.  The Parish Center is the building directly across from the front doors of the church.  I still need to confirm availability with the parish office tomorrow and confirm the maximum headcount the room can accommodate.

Please keep an eye on your email tomorrow for a possible location update from me.

In the interim, please let me know if anyone has an idea for an alternate location.  If one comes to mind and you wouldn't mind calling to check availability and whether we would be able to use the facility for free, that would be very helpful.

Worst case, we may have to postpone until the following week (12/23).  I realize this is not optimal because many of those going out of town for Christmas may have already departed, but it may be the best we can do.  Both Mercy Hall and Trinity Hall appear to be booked solid for the remainder of this week, so rescheduling for another day this week does not appear to be optimal.
