Remaining Meetings 02 & 09 December

Troop,

A Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.  I hope that everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving day and took some time to reflect on how much each of us have to be thankful for.  A few notes and reminders with regard to our final two meetings:

1) Monday 02 December - There are a total of 5 boys who need a Board of Review in order to advance at our final meeting on 09 December.  I am in need of at least 6 parents to stay for the duration of the meeting so that we can have simultaneous boards going and complete the meeting by 8:30 or so.

2) Monday 09 December - this is our final troop meeting and we will be starting at 7 pm.  Please bring a dessert to share, and a gift not to exceed $10 if you are interested in participating in a White Elephant gift exchange.

The agenda will be as follows:

7:00:  Flags, opening ceremony

7:15:  Brief awards and advancement ceremony

7:35:  Patrol Skits

8:00:  Scoutmaster Minute

8:05:  Flags, closing ceremony

8:10:  Dessert/fellowship/White Elephant Gift Exchange

8:30:  For those who are interested in staying, there will be a short presentation and Q&A period on Trail Life, the new Scout alternative program that will be coming to St. John in the new year.

Regrettably,

 

We are in NY on Monday and Tuesday for MaryAnn’s radiation and chemo.  Otherwise I would offer to help with the BORs.
