Troop,
I'm pleased to announce that we have two more Eagle Scouts from Troop 957.
This past Friday, both Rane Squires and Jeremiah Poff (via Skype) successfully sat for their Eagle Boards of Review. Please join me in congratulating these fine young men on a significant achievement. Well done Rane and Jeremiah - a sweet end to a long road.

Jenny,
From back in the Cub Scout days, I have the following for Troop 180:
I also have a flyer they were giving out to Cub Scout troops back in 2011, if you want it, let me know and I'll forward it. Fair warning - the file is about 18 MB in size. It's older, and the contact info in it is included in the list above.
I looked around again for the spreadsheet of Boy Scout troops around Warrenton that I had from back in 2011, but I still cannot find it. I suspect it was on a hard disk of a now dead computer. If I find it, I'll share it.

Hi Jenny,
I just saw this e-mail and here is the information that I could find for troop 180...
they have a number of sites...I am not sure which is the "current" or "kept current" site.
A name I pulled off the website is a Richard Rayaprol. I do not know him personally. I also believe that Jim Koehr is the POC for this troop. I don't have his contact information readily available but please let me know if you don't have and need it,. I would be happy to track it down for you once I am home.
Also, for those who might want to consider remaining at St. John's there is this evening an information session for the Trail Life USA group forming here. It is just getting off the ground.
I know this is a tough decision for all our families, but the Hassans will remaining at St. Johns and go forward with Trail Life USA. Having an Eagle Scout, to Star Scouts and three more boys coming up through the cub scout ranks too, this was a tough decision. We have had many, many blessed years with the BSA and specifically Troop 957 .
To those who choose to stay here at St. John's and participate in the new program, we look forward to some great adventures going forward. To those who should choose to continue on with the BSA we wish you the very, very best and most importantly thank you for some of the most special times in my sons and my family's life over the past decade! We are honored to know you are our friends and you have been there for us, and hopefully we have been there for you too. In the future this will remain the case! God Bless you and THANK YOU!
Location:Trinity Hall - St. John The Evangelist School
An adventure is beginning in Warrenton and the surrounding area. The Parish of St. John’s is taking its outdoor formation activity and moving forward with the Trail Life USA, a newly founded national organization with the mission “to guide generations of courageous young men to honor God, lead with integrity, serve others, and experience outdoor adventure.” This is a mission very much in line with morals of the Church and many other Christian communities. We must instill these morals in our boys as they grow to be young men serving the Lord and in turn our society.
Concerning membership, it is unequivocally so, that “all boys are welcome irrespective of religion, race, national origin or socio-economic status.” It will be open to boys K – 12. For more information please plan on attending the upcoming Trail Life USA organizational meetings.
Does anyone have contact information for Troop 180. We were hoping to visit tomorrow. I have been unsuccessful finding any information. Thank you, Jenny Squires
