Scouting for Food - September 8

Hi Everyone.

I hope you're all enjoying the last bit of summer!  On the first Saturday of September, our troop will again be collecting food as part of the Scouting for Food program.  All of the items collected will help stock the pantry at the Peace of Bread soup kitchen located at the Presbyterian Church on Cottage St.  We are asking scouts to sign up for one 2-hour shift that day to help with this effort.  Details are:

Saturday, September 8
Walmart in Northbridge (grocery-side door)
Shift 1 = 8am - 10am
Shift 2 = 10am - Noon
Shift 3 = Noon to 2pm
Shift 4 = 2pm-5pm  (From 4-5, scouts will help deliver the food to the PofB and stock the shelves)

Mr. Beauregard and Mr. Belanger will be at the meetings for the next few weeks with a sign-up sheet.  Please sign up for at least one shift to help with this important community service effort.  All of the food we help collect goes directly to needy families right here in Northbridge.  An info sheet is attached to help answer any additional questions.
