BMX BIKE TRIP THIS WEEKEND

Hi Everyone.

Just a quick reminder that the BMX bike trip down to the Cape is this weekend!  We will be meeting at the church on Friday at 5:30, departing no later than 6 pm.  We will be returning home to Whitinsville around 12 pm at the Middle School parking lot.  The cost is only $12.  I have attached a flyer in case you need a new one.  There is a waiver from the sponsoring organization that must be filled out prior to our departure Friday afternoon.  I will have copies with me in the parking lot.

Please note:  If you plan on driving down with us, we need your license plate number!  We must turn this info into the Otis people ASAP.  Please send me a message so I can forward on that info. 

There are some specific pieces of gear you will need if you plan on riding.  You must have closed-toed shoes (sneakers), long pants, and a long sleeve shirt.  A regular bike helmet is fine for practicing, but a full-face helmet is required to race.  Mr. Lamont will have those to borrow if you don't have one already.  Optional, but recommended, gear includes elbow pads and knee pads.  There will be racing bikes to borrow and other gear if you need it.  We will also have a trailer to carry your own bike down if you'd like to bring it.

For meals, I will be cooking us breakfast Saturday morning.  (pancakes and sausage!!)  Hot dogs and hamburgers will be available for sale for lunch and dinner and there will be a snack shack open all day as well.  We will stop for a quick breakfast on the way home Sunday.
