Subject: Scout Day 2015 - Flyer Attached
Attached is the flyer for the Second Annual Scout Day at Natural Bridge Park. This is for ALL scouts – Cubs to Eagles, Daisies to Ambassadors.
The cost is $20 per person before April 1 and $25 after April 1. Registration opens March 1. It’s the same price for everyone – scouts, parents, chaperones, siblings. Children 6 and under are free. Two Scout Leaders per every troop are free. Registration and payment required by May 15. No refunds will be given after May 15.
This includes lunch – hamburgers, hot dogs, salad, cookies.
Miscellaneous notes:
- Eagle, Explorer, and Ambassador Scouts may volunteer to assist the Park Staff in the activities. There will be a volunteer form with the Registration form.
- Troop activities are as a group. Chaperones, parents, siblings, etc., are considered members of the troop for purposes of registration. Non-Scout siblings are welcome.
- The Natural Bridge Patch is a commemorative from the program and not part of the Scout badge program.
- Activities are held in multiple areas – Caverns, Playground, Rockbridge, Cedar Creek Trail, Monacan Indian Exhibit
- Shuttles will run between activity areas throughout the day.
- Our campground may be ready for occupancy for Scout Day. We will keep you posted. Other campgrounds are nearby.
- Cottage/hotel rooms will be available at a discounted “Scout” rate.
