I wanted to follow-up on my earlier email and remind you of our quarterly round table meeting tomorrow evening starting at 6:30 at Central United Methodist Church in Radford. 6:30-7:00 will be a social time and the meeting will start promptly at 7:00.

As I, and Chris Dempsey, have communicated to you before we are now having quarterly round tables rather than on a monthly basis. We hope that this new format will better serve you and minimize the time you need to spend at meetings. However, in order for this to work we need for you to make every effort to attend or have someone from your unit attend and report back to your unit the information that is conveyed at the round table. Tomorrow evening we will be concentrating on reworking the merit badge program for the boy scouts, and for the cub scout we will be discussing the Join Scout Night activities and distributing the materials needed for this event. Plus for the cub scout we will begin the conversation on the changes coming to the cub scout program beginning this spring. There are major changes coming throughout the year so you need to be prepared to implement these changes as they happen.

I promise you will not be bored and you will get valuable information that will assist you in running your unit and providing a quality program for your scouts.

So, make an effort and let's get the scouting year off to a good start together.
