Calling all black Harvard students!
The BSA Board hopes everyone is safe and calm in light of the events of the last 24 hours. As you already know, Visitas is cancelled. Visitas weekend is an important deciding factor for many black students, especially because we, as a community, host events such as the BCL BBQ, Black Coffee, and more, which give the prefrosh a chance to experience the tight knit black community at Harvard.
As such, in an effort to give the prefrosh an impression of the Black Community before they make their college decision, BSA would like to send a video to the Black 2017 prefrosh.
So calling all Freshman, Sophmores, Juniors (even those abroad), and Seniors:
Get together with your friends, blackmates, or just you and send a short video (10sec-2min) to Ade (apop...@college.harvard.edu) expressing why you love Harvard, what the black community has meant to you, and/or why the prefrosh should choose Harvard. This can be as simple as blockmates simultaneously saying, "We love Harvard!" or " We love the Black Community! Come to Harvard!" or it can be a creative song/rap or funny video. Also, if you have any videos in your own inventory from a black event or even you and your friends acting crazy somewhere on campus, please send it!
This video can be done using your laptop, camera, or cellphone. If the file is too big to put in an email, please use dropbox.com and share it to Ade's email. Please send them in as soon as possible, no later than Sunday at 5pm.
Remember how much Visitas meant to you and how important it was to your college decision. Let's not leave these prefrosh without a chance to get to know us!

Either one is great. I would use the bsa gmail rather than ade's email just so we can all edit if need be. you could also say that that there is a twitter discussion for 2017 if people would like to join that as well.
